Welcome
Feel better and improve your life.

Clients come to me for a wide range of reasons, but ultimately, they want to feel better and improve their lives. Some of the common issues that I treat include: depression, anxiety and stress, difficulty coping with life, relationship struggles, low self-esteem, and childhood wounds that keep us repeating unhealthy patterns in adulthood. I also work with clients who want to explore “what’s next?” as they go through major life transitions.

As people increase their confidence and develop insight into what thoughts and feelings are keeping them from their goals, they begin to free themselves from unproductive patterns that keep them feeling “stuck.” Then, they can begin moving toward reaching goals that they have denied themselves. It is important to me that I provide a friendly, safe, supportive, and confidential environment for my clients as we work together to get to the heart of the matter so they can start enjoying life again.

I am a fully state licensed certified Social Worker with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Social Work, both from Wayne State University. In 2005, after being on staff with Henry Ford Health System, I moved into private practice in St. Clair Shores and founded Metamorphosis Counseling, where I continue to provide counseling and psychotherapy to women and men looking to make positive changes in their lives.

Please feel free to contact me for a free phone consultation to discuss any issues with which you are having difficulty.  I am happy to answer any questions you may have about the services I provide and look forward to talking with you.

Empowering men and women to create balanced, fulfilling passionate lives.

"I have worked in the mental health field for over fifteen years, helping adult women and men in individual therapy, and couples therapy. My therapeutic approach is primarily based on cognitive behavioral therapy; understanding how people develop and grow, and how life changes or life transitions can cause challenges to a person. I am interested in how people’s thoughts and feelings influence how and what they do."
