KRIS before & after

Kris has been a friend and a client who came to see me ready to update her hairstyle. I suggested a look that would better suit her face shape and take her to the next level of current short haircuts. Changing her parting and incorporating more layers at her crown along with a bit of symmetrical direction added a more trendy fashion to her gorgeous red hair. This is a style that compliments her already fun and sassy personality!

VICTORIA before & after

Victoria is someone I’ve enjoyed getting to know. She came to the salon excited about finding a hairstylist who would finally design the look she always wanted. She desired to keep her length and wanted more volume. I added shorter layers at her crown and left the layers longer towards the ends to keep the thickness. I shortened the bangs and textured them to add softness to the forehead. With a touch of root-lift and round brush blow dry, she is ready for the runway!!

This is Karen Bea. During our consultation, Karen wanted to update her look. She wanted a style that still maintained a length that could be worn in a variety of ways. I decided a long layered cut would give her the versatility she desired. This style creates volume and soft movement, keeping the fringe around the face longer which compliments her face shape. Teri Pressnell, a recent client, visited the salon. She was bored with her present hairstyle and wanted an update. She wanted something trendy with a bit of a “rock style flair”. I created long layers with texture which enhanced her highlights and added volume at the crown. I thought a longer fringe would fit her face shape. Now she’s ready for the party!

This is Debbie Jayne. One of the first comments Debbie made during my consultation was how much she disliked her hair. She expressed wanting a style that gave her volume but wanted to maintain length. I wanted to create a hairstyle that complimented her face shape in keeping length but also adding layers for movement. To accentuate the volume, I used a round brush at the crown and throughout her longer layers towards the face. I added some lighter highlights to create dimension and kept her bangs slightly textured to enhance her beautiful eyes. This style has versatility for any occasion.

This is Ellen Lewis. Ellen expressed a desire for a style that enhanced her face shape and wanted volume and some texture. Having fine hair, I created a mid-length style and added layers and texture for fullness. I suggested brightening up her color with some light blonde highlights. With some added root lift and roll brush drying, this style is versatile for a day at the office as well as an evening out.
