NEW LEADERSHIP DELIVERING RESULTS FOR OUR COMMUNITY
My name is Frank J Wasung, I am a lifelong Macomb County resident. Raised in a typical Union Family in the Clinton Township Suburbs. I graduated from Chippewa Valley High in 1987 and attended Macomb Community College. I have been through all of the economic ups and downs of SE Michigan my entire life. As a small business owner, in the 90's, I made my way through the Small Business tax, increasing health care coverage cost, employee challenges, and a declining economy as we moved through the early 2000's. I married, raised my two children, and switched careers at a very scary time economically. After obtaining my Real Estate License in 2004, I carved out a career in real estate as the market crashed and values fell almost 50%! I continued to move forward, obtaining a Brokers license and working incredibly hard to be sure my Wife, Children, and aging Mother have good lives full of happiness. I never stop taking on challenges and am confident that now, in the face of adversity throughout our State and Nation, that my passion will result in powerful representation for citizens of our newly formed district 65.
If you want to change the world, start in your own backyard. This is why I have decided to enter this race for State Representative. Government has, over the years, reversed its purpose, imposing its own will and agendas onto the citizens. I want to fight back and bring the will of the citizens back to the three branches of Government. My goal is to work to identify and represent the top concerns of the people of my district.
Representative. I intend to show my children that actions speak loudly, and non-actions are silent. Let's walk the walk instead of talk the talk!

I intend to work with and in the community and then take the concerns of our community to Lansing. Have you felt properly represented by any elected official of late? I honestly have not, thus why I am running.
