Our Blueberry Hill rental is nestled in the highly desirable Thumb Coast region of Michigan, in the quaint little town of St. Clair, home of the world's longest freshwater boardwalk. The boardwalk is located in the beautiful and picturesque Palmer Park.  This grassy park offers plenty of shade trees, and gently slopes down to the crystal blue waters of the St. Clair River.  Many benches line the boardwalk, and there is plenty of room to bring your own blankets and chairs to watch passing freighters.  
Palmer Park is located in downtown St. Clair, adjacent to a shopping and dining district just minutes from “Blueberry Hill”.

 

Our completely renovated 1949 Bungalow is a real showcase… it’s the only blue house on the top of the hill which inspired us to nickname our cottage “Blueberry Hill”.

 

The newly updated Bungalow offers a unique cottage feel from the outside offering a colorful hue of blue and white exterior, wrapped in porches and decks laced with white railings situated on a large park-like yard.  The front porch bench is perfect for sitting outside and people-watching, while the back porch offers the perfect view of the large fenced-in country-sized yard with seating for 6 offering a table and gas grill for outdoor barbeques.

The completely remodeled interior with smart tweaks to the floor plan offers spacious cozy convenience, coupled with a warm and comforting color palette to make your stay both relaxing and comfortable. Our three-bedroom bungalow offers a clean and cozy mix of sophistication and cottage décor offers a balanced mix of cottage charm and convenient amenities.

The focal point of the large open kitchen is the spacious cabinets, countertop space and ceramic tile floors with relaxing views of the park-like yard. The kitchen is fully stocked and offers a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot, tea kettle along with dishes and utensils.

With hardwood floors throughout the living area and main floor bedrooms, the comfortable living room has a couch & loveseat, two chairs, an electric fireplace, and a large-screen TV. Wireless internet and a washer & dryer are also included.

Two bedrooms are located on the main floor. Bedroom 1 offers a queen bed, dresser, nightstand and a large closet.

Bedroom 2 also has a queen bed, dresser, and stackable washer/dryer.

Bedroom 3 is located on the Second floor and has two twin beds, a nightstand, a comfy chair, and a TV.

 

The bathroom is centrally located on the main floor and has a full walk-in shower that is wheelchair accessible. Linens are provided.

The house sleeps 4-5 comfortably, and all linens are professionally cleaned after each traveler’s stay.
