How to Purchase an Item On Etsy

All of our furniture ecommerce transactions are made through our Etsy store.

To purchase an item on Etsy:

  1. Find an item you want to purchase on Etsy.com.

  2. Choose the options you want for that item, if applicable.

  3. Click Add to cart.

  4. Take any of these optional steps:

  • Add a note to the seller.

  • If the item is a gift, check the box next to This order is a gift.

  • If you have one, apply shop coupon codes. Coupon codes are unique to specific Etsy shops.

  • Choose your preferred payment method under How you’ll pay.

  • Click Proceed to checkout.

  • If you’re signed in to your Etsy account, confirm your shipping address and payment details.

  • If you’re checking out as a guest, click Continue as a guest. Fill in your shipping and payment details. There are benefits to creating an Etsy account before buying, but there are some purchases that you can make using guest checkout.

  • Review your order to check that your information and order are correct.

  • Click Place your order.

What Payment Methods Can I Use to Check Out on Etsy?

Most sellers on Etsy offer:

Some sellers accept only some of these methods.

Credit and debit cards

Sellers who accept credit and debit cards on Etsy accept most major credit issuers, including:

  • Visa

  • Mastercard/Eurocard

  • Discover

  • American Express

  • Carte Bleue (France)

You may see a pending transaction on your credit card bill for a small amount. This is a pre-authorization test to ensure your card is valid. Once your card has been validated, it will be dropped from your statement.

Your card will be saved for future purchases. You can remove or edit your saved card by going to: 
You > Account settings > Credit Cards.
