Here at Florida TRAC, our goal is to see all our horses in successful second careers in "forever homes". . Since 2009 we have had over 600 horses enrolled in Florida TRAC program. The sad fact is that it takes a lot of time, money and hard work to retrain our retired thoroughbreds, and ready them for second careers in the new homes. The cost for feed and board alone tallies over $400 per month per horse.
