Christine Davis

Bodyworker & Massage Therapist

Working as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist gave me professional insight into the anatomy and physiology of changes and modifications

needed to assist individuals in individual and group activities. I then discovered massage on personal level years ago and it helped me reconnect to my body especially after my pregnancy.

I had been involved with multiple sports and led a physical lifestyle but my body was evolving with age and health challenges. Body maintenance and

nutrition were all areas I began to work through using my massage therapy profession, while also developing other professional resources as support for my evolving needs.

About Me

I have 18 years of Therapeutic Massage Experience and 27 years of experience as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist in various health care facilities.  I went to Lakewood School of Therapeutic Massage and I have a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from Grand Valley State University.

I am trained in Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Orthopedic Massage, Craniosacral Therapy techniques, Dynamic Stretching, Rock Tape- Cupping, Rock Floss, Fascial Movement Taping (FMT)- adult and pediatrics, IASTM Blades, and Manual Lymph Drainage.

I have worked with various athletes from organized sports to the Weekend Warriors- adults and kids. I have knowledge and understanding of various intellectual and physical challenges in adults and pediatrics.

I have worked in integrated health care settings such as physical rehabilitation, community mental health, nursing home and assisted living facilities.

Massage Therapy is my passion. I am driven to learn and study different modalities of bodywork and massage to assist with educating and body maintenance through continued education and evidence-based research providers.
